She-novate 2025: Empowering the Next Generation of Tech Leaders
In celebration of International Women’s Day, FAF NGO and TEKEDU UTM Club hosted She-novate, a dynamic event dedicated to exploring the power of innovation, entrepreneurship, and female leadership. On March 9th, the Cybercor center at the Technical University of Moldova became a hub of inspiration, bringing together students, professionals, and tech enthusiasts.
The event was designed as an inclusive space for everyone — students and professionals alike — to connect with the real-world stories of women who are currently reshaping the technological landscape.
A Day of Hands-On Learning and Growth
The agenda was packed with diverse activities that balanced technical expertise with essential soft skills. Following a warm welcome and introduction, participants dived into a series of specialized tracks:
Soft Skills Workshops: Attendees explored critical topics such as Gender Mobbing, Project Management, and practical sessions on optimizing CVs and LinkedIn profiles. A dedicated session by the Stefanini Team provided professional insights into the corporate tech world.
Tech & Hands-On Tracks: Innovation met creativity in sessions like “Think Outside the Box” and the “Tech Women Bakery.” Meanwhile, the hands-on workshops brought a festive touch to engineering, where participants created Origami Flowers with Arduino and custom Women’s Day Postcards.
The Main Stage: Women in Tech Panel
The highlight of the afternoon was the “Women in Tech” Panel Discussion, featuring three remarkable leaders:
- Ludmila Peca
- Elena Cotar
- Ecaterina Artemiev
These speakers shared their personal journeys, the challenges they faced in the industry, and invaluable advice for those just starting their careers. Their stories served as a powerful reminder that innovation knows no gender and that leadership is built on perseverance and community support.
