Programmers Day 2025: An Evening of Inspiration, Innovation, and Community
On September 25, 2025, FAF NGO, in partnership with Tekwill and the Technical University of Moldova, brought together over 150 participants for an unforgettable evening dedicated to innovation, networking, and knowledge-sharing at Imaginarium Hall, Tekwill.
This year’s edition was particularly meaningful as we also celebrated the 8th anniversary of FAF NGO — eight years of empowering students, supporting professional growth, and strengthening Moldova’s IT community. 🎂✨
Event Highlights
The program kicked off at 18:00 with an opening session, followed by inspirational talks, a panel discussion on the future of technology and AI, and interactive networking activities. The atmosphere was electric as students, professionals, and industry leaders connected, exchanged ideas, and explored the latest trends shaping the IT world.

We were honored to host a lineup of remarkable speakers who shared their expertise and insights:
- Dragoș Străinu — Software Engineer (Amazon, Planable), open-source contributor, mentor & hackathoner.
- Cristina Cebotari — Data & AI leader at Orange Systems and COO at Sigmoid, driving responsible AI adoption and community growth.
- Vasile Drumea — Software Engineer at Grid Dynamics, working on agentic AI and LLM projects, passionate about mentoring and innovation.
- Corina Tilea — Co-founder & CEO of Iucosoft Pro.
- Iulian Gulea — AI Tech Lead at Agvend.
- Elena Oprea — CEO & Co-founder of Selftalk, an AI-powered platform for self-therapy and organizational growth.
Each of them brought a fresh perspective — from cutting-edge AI and software engineering practices to entrepreneurship, community building, and mental well-being in the tech industry.
